Donald Trump Appoints A Nigerian, Omarosa Manigault, As Head Of Trump Campaign

American presumptive Presidential nominee, Donald Trump has announced that Nigerian-American Omarosa Manigault is now the director of the African-American Outreach for his presidential campaign.

Omarosa, who was a former contestant on Trump’s reality-TV show The Apprentice, confirmed the news yesterday.Speaking to newsmen, she said.....

“I’m happy to take up that cause for Donald Trump,”adding that her new role was “an extension” of the work she had been doing at the National Diversity Coalition for Trump. Trump reportedly hired Omarosa Manigault to help him win Black votes as recent polls have shown that he had 0% approval among black voters in key states such as Ohio and Pennsylvania.

But is Omarosa the right person for the job?The 42-year-old reality TV star made a name for herself as a ‘TV villain’ in the first season of Trump’s The Apprentice and also had a lot of negative press during that period as a result of her intensity and controversial actions. According to a 2004 Peoplemagazine article, Omarosa Manigault was ‘banished’ from four political jobs in only two years with the Clinton administration. At her last job, she was reportedly asked to leave almost immediately because she had been so disruptive.
